Foam Materials
Many of our materials are based according our data
base products criteria.
Choosing the right foam material for your application
is the first step in creating an effective foam design. The gasket material selection is an important part of
the gasket design process.
Pressure sensitive adhesive backings are usually applied in-house. We have
developed priming technologies to apply acrylic adhesives to silicone rubber
and other combinations that serve specific uses.

Polyurethanes
Polyurethane Foam is resilient and
flexible foam that can be made in an unlimited number of colors with densities
with compressions from very soft to semi rigid. There are currently several
hundred formulations available to meet your needs. These foams have consistent
cell sizes that make them excellent absorbers and dampeners of sound. They are easily
laminated to films, pressure sensitive adhesives, corrugated, fabrics and other
types of foams. Polyurethane Foam can be adapted to meet the Fire Retardant
requirements. Best of all, Polyurethane foams are inexpensive when compared to
all the cushioning products available today.

Polyesters
Because polyester foam comes in a wide range of grades, it is the ideal product
for packaging.
Esters
are more resistant (compared to ethers) to hydrocarbons or alcohols. Esters can
withstand stretching and tearing due to excellent physical properties of
tensile, tear and elongation. The cell structure of esters is finer and the
result is a more uniform appearance.

Polyethylenes
Polyethlyene is closed cell foam available in densities from 20 to 300kg/m3,
allowing for package designs for a variety of product weights and sizes.
Because it is resilient and flexible, it can take repeated shocks and still
protect against damage. Its high load bearing characteristics help reduce
packaging costs by using thinner and smaller amounts of foam. Ethafoam's tear
and compressive strength allows manufacturers to reuse it several times,
reducing their costs and helping the environment. Ethafoam is easily fabricated
into a variety of shapes and sizes with inexpensive steel rule dies and custom
cut patterns.

Polyethylene
These foams are available in a variety of colors, densities from 25-65kg/m3.
Crosslinking Polyethylene Foam enables it to be used for applications not
normally associated with P.E. foams. Crosslinking improves the resilience,
elasticity, and temperature stability that allows the material to be used in a
wider range of temperatures (-100 degrees F to +180 degrees F). It is also ozone
resistant. Many of these foams are compatible with food and can be used for
medical applications. Special additives, such as EVA improves softness.

Extrude Polyethlene Profile
Polyethylene foam is an environmentally friendly and extremely lightweight
product that boasts excellent insulation and performance characteristics.
Available in a wide range of colors, polyethylene foam can be foamed into many
shapes in a variety of densities.
Custom profile products are specially
designed foam products that represent a broad range of categories: tubes, rods,
planks and more. Colors, densities and shapes can all be modified to suit most
applications as needed.

PVC
Vinyl nitrile foams are closed cell products, generally of low-density
construction. They are excellent products for cushioning, vibration dampening,
and shock absorption. They are especially oil resistant. These products are
die-cuttable to customer specification

EVA`s and
Neoprenes
Neoprene and EDPM are closed cell foams. They are compressible and flexible and
are used for gasketing, providing long lasting seals. EDPM's are specially
formulated to withstand wide temperature ranges and are excellent for sealing
and weather stripping applications. These products are die-cuttable to customer
specification.

Polyester
Fibre
Densified Polyester Fiber is available in densities from 150gr to 1200gr sqm
and in thicknesses from 5 to 25mm. Polyester can be used outdoors with high
moisture conditions. Because of its construction, water drains completely
through the fiber without any absorption. This reduces the mildew potential,
and the fiber remains completely dry, which is especially important in specific
some aplications.
Applications:
·
Medical & Institutional
·
Mattresses
·
Futons
·
Outdoor & Indoor Furniture Cushions
·
Mattress Toppers
·
Boat Cushions & Padded Panels
·
Waterbed Baffles Filters

EPP/EPE
Sometimes also called bead board in the industry, expanded polypropylene and
cross linked expanded polyethylene products come in sheets or planks, and come
in diferent thicknesses including, as well as in a range of densities.
These closed cell foams provide
outstanding energy absorption characteristics, weight to strength ratio, and
are resistant to water, oils and most chemicals. Ideal for packaging
fabrication applications in markets including automotive, military, sensitive
equipment, fragile products, electronics, tools, hardware and much more.
EPP & EPE products offer exceptional performance in key criteria:
·
